About Us
Dr. Christina M. Jaderholm, D.C. earned her Masters Degree in Chiropractic Health Care from the University of Southern Denmark in 2007 and her title as D.C. from University of Western States. She is licensed to practice chiropractics in the Scandinavian countries as well as in WA and OR states.
She grew up in Denmark and studied in Odense for 6 years (Bachelor in Science and Master in Chiropractic). She wrote her thesis about the relationship between physical pain and psychiatric diagnoses. She did her final internship at Western States Chiropractic College in Portland, OR, from where she earned her american title as a docotor (D.C.).
In 2008 Dr. Jaderholm started her further studies in functional neurology. This is an ongoing continuing education which allows her to understand neurology and utilize it in a chiropractic setting. Part of this education and pratice is also to understand pediatric functional neurology and childhood development.
Besides being a chiropractor, Dr. Jaderholm is also mom to Olivia, born in August of 2010. Her family's well being is her biggest priority!
Dr. Christine Jones, D.C. is a graduate from Western States Chiropractic College. After college she decided to continue her studies and became an excellent doctor of the DNFT teqnicue on which she has built her busy and very popular practice. Further more, Dr. Jones has taken continuing education in functional neurology and nutrition. She offers a well rounded consultation to all her patients taking all aspects of health into consideration.
Dr. Jones build her own practice after gradutaion. She later joined practices with Dr. Hans M. Andersen, D.C., DACNB in 2005. The two bulid a very dynamic and evidence based pracitce leading them to specialize in brain injuries, understanding the mechanisms in functional neurology and healing. Today she gets patients refered from other doctors, when they fail to see progress. As co-founder of Chiropractic Healthcare & Functional Neurology (2011), Dr. Jones has taken yet another step on her succeessfull career path. Her clinical practices has not changed much, but the space available arond her has gotten bigger and brighter.
Dr. Jones spend most of her time dedicated to patients, keeping up with her busy schedule. She serves as a resource for patient support groups for brain injuries. Her calling is to continously explore the art of healing, weather as part of her own self-development or for her patients. But, she also enjoys relaxing with her husband, cooking nutritios food and watching a good movie.
Dr. Hans M. Andersen, D.C. DACNB is a graduate from Palmer Chiropractic College in Iowa. He started his first practice in Denmark in 1978 and was part of the group of american educated chiropractors fighting for the right to be recognized by the Danish health care system. They succeeded doing so in 1984. Dr. Andersen had a very busy practice in Denmark for 25 years before moving to Portland, OR and joing practice with Dr. Christine Jones in 2005.
Dr. Andersen earned his degree in Chiropractic Neurology (DACNB) from the Chiropractic Neurology Board in 1998. Over the years he has made it the main principle in his practice to look at functionality and neurological outcome measures. He treat the nervous sysytem, which in turn is the treatment of the symptoms expirienced by the patient. Today Dr. Andersen is not only a recognized member of the comunity build around chiropractic functional neurology, he is also an icon to his patients. He specialises in brain injuries and get patients refered from other doctors when the fail to progress.
Dr. Andersen has been a dedicated chiropractor through 3 decades. His expirience and continuing education makes him a very skilled physician, but most importantly a very well liked doctor by his patients. As co-founder of Chiropractic Healthcare & Functional Neurology (2011), he now teaches his principles of treatment as well as still practicing - now on a lighter schedule.
Dr. Andersen's spare time is best spend with his family; his wife and his two adult children, and now a grandchild. Being an eager golfer and skiier he'll be sure to teach the new family member a thing or two.
